"On the Ball" class
This class is great for those who want to improve their strength, flexibility and balance. bringing special attention to the posture, core and abs. It's a unique mix of resistance training, pilates, yoga, and stretching.
Following a holistic approach, this class also includes breathing exercises and mindfulness to improve breathing and reduce stress.
We are using a stability ball and other kinds of equipment (bosu ball, free weights, bands, blocks, etc) to challenge your muscles or for modifications and support.
Every Sunday, 11:45am -12:30pm
Location: Abbotsford Recreation Centre
Price: Regular Drop-in rate or FREE if you have a membership at Abbotsford Recreation Centre or Matsqui Recreation Centre.
The intensity level is 3 and can be modified for any ability. Please arrive to the class early to discuss options with the trainer.
What should I wear?
I recommend that you wear light breathable clothing or sportswear to ensure maximum comfort and flexibility, suitable footwear, such as trainers, for stability and support. I am also highly advise that you bring plenty of water to ensure that you keep hydrated during the class.
Keep in mind that Drop-in classes are on a first-come, first-served basis.
